Diploma in Information Technology
The Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) is an IT industry-based course. The program introduces students to applications that are commonly used in the industry – Multimedia, Java, .Net Technology, Linux, Windows Server, database management systems, and SQL. DIT classes are mostly hands-on/practical in approach and it is a project-based course. As a requirement, the students are expected to create a real-life system development project, using the language they have selected during the course. The emphasis of the project will be on the analysis, specification, design and implementation of realistic systems.

Program Advancement
Students may choose to take international exams to gain an international diploma awarded by the National Computing Centre, United Kingdom.
Graduates may study for another year and earn the Advanced Diploma in Information Technology.
They may further study for another year at Informatics or at partner universities around the world to earn a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
