It was bound to happen sometime. Two celebrated IT institutions forged a partnership that will ante up the ICT education quality in the country.
Informatics Philippines will now offer Microsoft IT professional and developer courses that will grant students an official Microsoft Certification at the end of their class through the Microsoft IT Academy Program.
With the IT Academy partnership, Informatics will have access to all Microsoft curriculum and cutting-edge software tools for its training courses for both educators and students. This also enables students who will be taking computer and IT courses under the program to become Microsoft Certified Professionals, provided they pass the certification exam.
The Microsoft IT Academy Program offers internationally recognized standards in terms of curriculum as required by businesses and industries globally. Thus, becoming a Certified Microsoft professional increases one’s employability not just locally but also overseas.
The learning tools are also available online and can be applied as blended learning (classroom + online). Students and educators will have access to Microsoft’s rich online resources including modules and the eReference Library.
The Microsoft IT Academy program enables academic learning institutions to connect the world of education to the world of work by enabling faculty and students to acquire new technology skills in an academic setting.
Informatics, as the leading IT institution in the country, ascertains that it maximizes all teaching technologies available. It has been the leader in applying blended learning approaches in its curricula, giving students a variety of enhanced options when taking up a course.
